As he is more of a hindrance to the police, he is sent away. That’s when Quan takes matters into his own hands and targets the Northern Ireland deputy First Minister Liam Hennessy, a former IRA leader. Quan goes to Belfast to investigate on his own and avenge his daughter’s murder. The film is based on the Stephen Leather novel The Chinaman.
